  SENTIMENTS

Here's to the Smiley High School class of 1956, and those people who attended high school with us. Included are the friends who came for one year, two years, and all three years. If you know where any of these people are, please go to feedback and let us know. 

Though we have traveled many different roads in the years since we walked across that stage at the Smiley auditorium (now only a memory like those years of our lives), our hearts still come home to our alma mater.  We remember, not so much the bricks and mortar that occupy space on East Mt. Houston road (Now Mesa Drive), but the spirit of our classmates and friends we knew there, the experiences we shared, the laughter and even the tears.

We now celebrate the large collection and wide variety of accomplishments that we represent and marvel at the abundance that our common roots have produced.  But more than that, we stand in wondrous amazement at the strength of the bonds that were forged between us so many years ago.  

May we always be able to come home to the friends and the spirit of that time in our lives when we were young and full of promise and may we enjoy each other in friendship forever.
