Morris Wilson
After
graduation, I spent 4 years in the Air Force,1 year of it in Iceland, 6
months stateside for training, 2 1/2 years in South Dakota. I was married
within 6 months after leaving the Air Force. We had 2 children. When they
graduated high school, they soon after got married. They each have 4
children. The daughter lives in the Humble area and the son lives in
Dayton. After 32 years with the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in the
chemical plant near Pasadena, I retired to go into real estate. It
occupies most of my time, but it buys groceries and gives us some extra
spending money. While at Goodyear, I purchased some land and built a
mobile home park on it. Later I sold out with an owner finance and am
still collecting on that monthly. Can you believe soon I'll be 62 and will
be eligible for social security? God is good! I am also involved in church
on a regular basis and love every minute of it! It looks like I will be
here in Friendswood until "kingdom come". It's not a bad place
to live. My mom and dad are still kickin' and I am very thankful for that.
My daughter Lisa lives in the Atascocita area, and my son Kerry lives in
the Dayton area. I will probably keep my real estate license as long as
I'm healthy and can keep up with it. I could not stand to be idle long,
but I would enjoy more time with the grandchildren. If you haven't seen my
